After mixing cement slurry or cement mortar and foam, artificial building stone, which is successfully hardened by different treatment methods, has uniformly distributed closed small bubbles, thus forming porous structure, called foam concrete. The main structural difference between this material and cement concrete is that cement concrete lacks this porous structure.
Porous structure has many excellent properties for foamed concrete, such as light weight, low heat conduction and high frost resistance, which are all very valuable properties in building.
